Good to know

  • Booking only through the official reservation site; no phone bookings.
  • Weekdays 11:00-13:00 and 13:45-15:45; weekends/holidays 9:30-11:30, 12:20-14:20 and 15:00-17:00. Up to 12 (weekday) or 14 (weekend) guests.
  • The live guide speaks Japanese only. An English booklet (ask at reception) and a free audio guide in 10 languages including English (from August 2026) are available.
  • No alcohol is served to visitors who will be driving. The route is entirely on foot and wheelchairs cannot be used.
  • Production is paused on weekends and in summer (early Aug - late Sep); tours still run but without work in progress.
