About this site
Sake Tabi is a guide to visiting Japan's drink makers.
What you can find
Find places to visit for sake, shochu, awamori, whisky, wine, beer and more, with details on booking, guidance in English, fees and seasonal changes to what you can see.
Information and sources
We draw on facilities' official websites, tourism organisations, booking sites and articles. Details we have not confirmed are marked "Check the official site". Each listing separates information checked against official sources from secondary sources such as articles.
About alcohol
You must be 20 or over to drink in Japan. Most facilities restrict tours and tastings to visitors aged 20 and over. Drivers and anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding cannot take part in tastings. This site does not encourage drinking.
Corrections and removal requests
If you run a facility and would like a correction or want your listing removed, please write to support@jtrip-portal.com. We will check and respond promptly.
How the site earns money
The site is funded by advertising and affiliate links to travel and experience booking sites. We may earn a commission if you book through a link. Commissions do not affect which facilities we list or their order. Advertising links are labelled "PR" and carry rel="sponsored".
